My very good friends Kendall and Marco embarked on a new life in Palm Springs, California and invited me to join them as they awaited the finishing touches on their new home.  I’ve always loved Palm Springs but this trip was special. We decided to take an architectural tour of some private homes and wow was that cool!  I learned a lot about mid-century design.  Most particularly fascinating was why the windows are so small and what seems odd places compared to modern designs.  Here are some photos from three homes we toured. Two homes were very bright and artsy
